How this all came about...

I have always loved doing crafts! I started by making Christmas presents for my family members when I was young. I moved into scrapbooks (Creative Memories: www.creativememories.com) when I was in high school. At some point I had seen a t-shirt quilt and fell in love with it. I started saving t-shirts and decided that at some point I wanted to learn how to sew well enough to make a t-shirt quilt. I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason, even if at the time you have no idea what the reason is. After Nick & I got married I changed jobs sort of as a fluke. In my new department I met some of my best girlfriends out here...Kim, Erin, Sarah, and Kathy. I also met a lady named Deb who is a sewer and is friends with a woman who owns a sewing store (The Bernina Connection: www.berninaconnection.com). So she brought me in, I signed up for some classes, and the rest is history! The Bernina Connection is such a great place! Everyone is so friendly and helpful, they have great classes, and all of the supplies you need (especially helpful if you forget something you need for class!). I decided to make this blog to include the recent projects I have been working on. Most of them are sewing related, but some aren't. Enjoy :0)
