My favorite new shower gift...a diaper cake decorated with a theme (the room theme or shower theme) with some baby essentials attached.

Anything Goes In It Bag and Snap Happy Bag

These were fun bags to make! On the left is the Anything Goes In It Bag & on the right is the Snap Happy Bag. This bag has a zip closure. It would be a perfect pencil case or for makeup brushes. This bag "snaps" open. It is actually made using cut pieces of a measuring tape. The opening is flexible but will stay shut. I had never thought of using this technique for a sewing project.
